I am the different one in my family. I'm the weird one with a functioning pancreas. It's strange that I don't have to test my blood sugar and drink chocolate milk at 2am. I don't have Type 1 Diabetes, but the rest of my family does.
My name is Megan and I live in Colorado with my husband, two children, three cats, and one sweet dog. We are surrounded by a community of people who support, care, and advocate for our Type 1 family. My hope is to continue to spread awareness of Type 1 and take you beyond the finger pokes and juice boxes. There's so much more to our lives than that!
